If you’re interested in getting involved with one best youth programs in Ripley County, you’re at the right place.
We are constantly looking for people who want to be part of our program. We have need of volunteers who are willing to give us a hand throughout the year with the logistics in putting together our annual trip. This includes preparation and care of equipment, food shopping, advertising, recruiting, public relations, fund raising, and a lot more.

Youth to Yellowstone of Ripley County
Chaperone Policy
The purpose of this policy is to define the eligibility criteria and selection process of chaperones participating in Youth to Yellowstone of Ripley County events.
Chaperones are adults that oversee various parts of events, including trips, sponsored by the organization. Collectively, they assist the event leadership in organizing and managing the student group to ensure the event meets the goals of the organization.
Youth to Yellowstone of Ripley County chaperones:
- Should be at least 25 years old. Exceptions at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
- Shall have a valid driver’s license.
- Shall have never been convicted of a felony.
- Shall have no misdemeanor convictions within the past 10 years.
- Shall disclose all law infractions for review by the Board of Directors.
- Shall agree to a background check prior to participating in any organization event.
All chaperones are selected by the Youth To Yellowstone of Ripley County Board of Directors. The selection process includes application by the candidate, review of background check results, and a majority agreement of the current Board of Directors.
